An electrifying collaboration reviving the dazzling traditional Scottish and Irish jigs, reels, rants, hornpipes and haunting ballad tunes blown, strummed and scraped in the streets, stews, taverns, theatres and ballrooms of old London.
Brilliant Galician piper and iconic Celtic folk-legend Carlos Nuñez & two members of his band join international early music stars Philip Pickett & Musicians of the Globe in a riotous evening of pipes, whistles, fiddles, guitars, bandora, drums and more.

Phil’s folk-rock exploits include years with the Albion Band and recordings with members of Fairport Convention and both Richard and Linda Thompson. In 2010 his acclaimed ballad project with Richard Thompson and the Musicians of the Globe sold-out London’s Cadogan Hall and Antwerp’s De Singel.
